Quick and Easy Rice Pudding

So I was going to make fried pork chops and rice with gravy, however when my husband arrived home, he was pretty tired and did not want anything fried. So I decided to make rice pudding


Cook 1 cup of uncooked rice

2 Cups water

2 T butter or margarine

1/2 t salt

Bring to a boil, cover and stir occasionally until done.

Add:

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup haft and haft (can do all milk)

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 T cinnamon

1 t vanilla extract

1 t allspice (I put about 3...it adds a wonderful flavor)

Cook on medium, stirring occasionally, until milk is absorbed and it is creamy

Eat warm or cold!
